The official website of the Development and Reform Commission of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued the policy of canceling preferential electricity prices

On September 1, the official website of the Development and Reform Commission of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued a notice on the cancellation of preferential electricity price policies. According to the notice, in order to strictly implement the requirements of the National Development and Reform Commission for cleaning up and canceling unreasonable preferential electricity price policies, and do a good job in rectifying the problems found in the 2021 energy conservation and emission reduction audit conducted by the National Audit Office and the problems fed back by the second round of central environmental protection supervision, the preferential electricity price policy for strategic emerging industries of the West Mongolia Power Grid and the electricity price policy for backward transmission and distribution of large industries of the East Mongolia Power Grid will be cancelled. Other preferential electricity price policies inconsistent with the current Notice shall be suspended accordingly. After the above preferential electricity price policy is cancelled, the current electricity price policy of the state and autonomous region shall be strictly followed
